Eric Vaughn founded One Eleven Web Design™ with a simple belief: a website shouldn’t be a project—it should be an ongoing business asset.

That belief didn’t begin in web design.

Before founding One Eleven, Eric spent more than 17 years in the construction industry, working with contractors, architects, engineers, and building product manufacturers. That experience gave him a firsthand understanding of how businesses operate, how projects move, and where technology often creates unnecessary complexity instead of solving real problems.

Determined to change that, Eric taught himself C++ and developed the Submittal App, an iPhone application designed to simplify the construction submittal process. It was the first step in a career focused on building practical technology that helps businesses work smarter. That experience shaped a philosophy Eric still follows today: technology should adapt to the way businesses work—not force businesses to adapt to technology.

That same philosophy became the foundation of One Eleven.

Over the past decade, One Eleven has evolved from a web design company into a managed website company focused on helping businesses grow through long-term partnerships rather than one-time projects. Today, that vision extends beyond websites through the development of One Eleven Pipeline™—a managed website ecosystem that brings together website management, customer communication, privacy, accessibility, reporting, and future business modules into a single connected experience.

For Eric, technology has never been the goal. Solving real business problems is. Whether simplifying website management, helping customers navigate evolving privacy requirements, or designing systems that make running a business easier, his focus remains the same: creating practical solutions that continue delivering value long after a website launches.

Eric has also served on the boards of several California chambers of commerce and community organizations, reflecting his commitment to strengthening the local business community and supporting the success of other entrepreneurs.

Outside the office, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, Tracy, and their two children, Megan and Owen. Family remains at the center of his life and continues to inspire the long-term perspective he brings to both business and leadership.
